Just in from the 11th Circuit Court, appeals court rules that Obamacare is unconstitutional. Now I am trying to figure out what exactly Obama has done here as POTUS. Plays lots of golf, talks on TV alot, has a super cool 50th bday bash/fundraiser and backyard BBQ with Kanye west and Jay Z, destroys relationship with Israel, oversees the first downgrade of US AAA credit rating, shuts down NASA, wages illegal war with Libya, extends Patriot Act and adds like 5 trillion of debt since he has taken office…

Stellar presidency so far….

Appeals court rules against Obama healthcare law

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – An appeals court ruled on Friday that President Barack Obama’s healthcare law requiring Americans to buy healthcare insurance or face a penalty was unconstitutional, a blow to the White House.

The Appeals Court for the 11th Circuit, based in Atlanta, found that Congress exceeded its authority by requiring Americans to buy coverage, but also ruled that the rest of the wide-ranging law could remain in effect.

The legality of the so-called individual mandate, a cornerstone of the healthcare law, is widely expected to be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. The Obama administration has defended the provision as constitutional.

Michelle Obama Spent 42 Days on Vacation this Past Year

by Keith Koffler on August 12, 2011, 11:05 am

First Lady Michelle Obama over the last year has spent a total of 42 days on vacation, or a little more than one out of every nine days, according to a White House Dossier analysis of her travel.

Her vacations, the cost of which are mostly borne by taxpayers, include trips to Panama City, Fla., Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii, South Africa, Latin America, Vail, Colo., and her visit this week to her brother in Corvallis, Ore.

The total does not include a nine day sojourn in Martha’s Vineyard that the Obamas will enjoy this month. Nor does it include a trip she made to Ireland and Great Britain in May, which I’m counting as official travel.
